E. J. M asked: My father bought a slot machine in Texas and would like to take to his other home in Nebraska. What is the punishment or what is the jail/prison time someone would have to serve if caught with a slot machine in the state of Nebraska? The slot machine uses quarters dollar bills or tokens.

Sean asked: I have a slot machine I want to sell. It was initially purchased with my knowledge that it had been “converted” to accept only tokens and will be sold with around 250 tokens. I placed an ad in a local shopper, and I have received several calls from people who are interested, but they have all asked whether or not it works with real money (quarters). I know it does, I’ve tried it out myself, but can I tell them this? I would really like to sell it, but I don’t want to risk getting in trouble over knowingly selling a gambling device that accepts real money in the state of Texas.

Pamela S asked: I have recently recieved a slot machine called “Magical Odds”. I want to remove the nudy lady and bring the winning odds down. I have been told I need to change the DIP setting on the logicboard but have no idea on how to do this? I have found four blue sets of switches on the board but would have no idea on which ones I would need to begin switching.

Reality Check asked: Do they take a certain amount of coins out of the slot machine each night?
Or is there a limit on the payout and the machine keeps the change (ie, max payout is $100 and the machine may have $1000 in it and they simple take out $900)
thanks
Douglas

Tom V asked: In other words, if I am playing a quarter slot machine and am playing just one quarter at a time when I hit a big jackpot, is my correct mental response:1) DAMN! Wish I had been playing THREE quarters–I would have won XXXX more dollars. Or 2) Good thing I was playing one quarter since that’s what this machine was ready to hit on.
NOT looking for OPINIONS. Hoping someone out there is a techie who has a definite ANSWER to this question.
Thanks!
Vicki

Jesus Z asked: Without a consistent reward, behavior usually ceases. Given the fact that most slot machine players almost never win, why do they still continue to play? Is your answer consistent with a Skinner’s views? Why or why not?
