xnox202 asked: To start off, I’m actually in look for motherboards with S939 Socket and still tucked with AGP. I’ve already tried eBay, and seems there’s only a few. The one I’m currently interested is only the “DFI LanParty UT nForce-3 Ultra-D” Motherboard which has the S939 and AGP slots. Is there any other online e-store that still has this? I can’t find such website. I’m interested to know if there’s more sites out there like eBay. I’m living outside the USA, and yes I have PayPal. I live in Brunei Darussalam, just to add some info.
Note that I’ll ignore any “Upgrade to PCI-E/Conroe” comments. I’ve done with that, and you know what I’ll say if you say so. Hope if I say the word ‘budget’ rings the bell..?

ezekiel2899 asked: i was using my computer one day,and all of a sudden my screen went black.so i switched to my onboard grafix and it worked again.but when i went to go online my wireless card didnt work either.i have tried all the slots and nothing worked..i tried an old agp grafix card and that worked..what would cause my pci slots to quit?…….its a brand new motherboard…i would give more info but not sure really what to say other than my pci slots jsut stopped..

☺ PeeJ ☺ asked: It has a firewire slot in it, but neither of my computers has a firewire slot/card. Are there any other ways to get video from a normal mini-dv cam to a computer so I can play around with editing it? Or possibly to get it online. For instance, perhaps I can install a firewire port or is there a way to make a firewire port on a mini-dv run through a USB? Thanks!

My other profile is a ferrari asked: i have a Sony Vaio VGC-RB57G desktop and it came with 1GB of ram installed and i want to extend it to 2GB. online it says my desktop uses DDR2 PC2-4200 type of ram. does that mean i have to buy that type? or Would a DDR2 PC2-6400 ram work on my desktop and fit in the slot?

J-Mar asked: I have a somewhat old Sony Vaio PCG-SR5K laptop and it has a pre-installed 56k modem in it. I’ve used it to get online in the past, but only on dial-up. Other than the fact that one is internal and the other operates through a pcmcia slot, is there a difference between the pre-installed modem I have and these PC Card Modems I keep hearing about? If so, what is the difference?
Also, which one of these modems could I use to get online with a cell phone and a data cable? Thanks to anyone who can help me.
Sorry. In regards to connecting with a cell phone, what I’m asking is can I use the modem that’s already in the laptop to connect to the internet with a cell phone? Or would I need to use another type?
I should probably also mention that I have a standard phone jack port on the laptop and not an ethernet port.
