I know that room rates have dropped in Vegas but do the slot machines have better payback now too?

   NO one will be able to answer this for you with a 100% degree of certainty but the smart money says that some of the room drop will be made back on tighter slots

   No, but it makes sense that if the slots are looser people would play more. However, it’s the other way around right now. They have tightened the slots everywhere because of the ecomony and the casinos’ profits have been steadily declining lately.

   It’s always a better plan to play the tables. They cannot change the odds on live gaming and craps and blackjack have always had much better odds than any machine.
