i have a Sony Vaio VGC-RB57G desktop and it came with 1GB of ram installed and i want to extend it to 2GB. online it says my desktop uses DDR2 PC2-4200 type of ram. does that mean i have to buy that type? or Would a DDR2 PC2-6400 ram work on my desktop and fit in the slot?
